In response to faculty requests, the Office of Online & Distance Education developed a Faculty Showcase so that faculty teaching at a distance could study examples of online teaching strategies used by UNL Faculty. The Showcase includes a collection of techniques, tips and tricks relating to online courses.

You will also find a discussion of teaching strategies, classroom management techniques, and course planning hints in the Distance Education 101. This course, which is open to you 24/7, is a self-enrolling Blackboard course that covers basic concepts of transforming your face-to-face teaching into an online environment.

For one-on-one consulting about possible choices of teaching strategies that you may want to use when developing your online course, contact the Instructional Design Technology Specialist assigned to your college or department.
